PIC SUB-COMMITTEE

Dear residents of the Skagit Highlands,

Your Property Improvement Committee (PIC) has been working hard to get your improvement requests processed in a timely manner. This has caused the committee to take a look at the current Property Improvement Memos (PIMs) for guidance in this. The PIMs and the PIC process was written by Quadrant to help them sell homes, but now that they have turned over management to an owner run HOA board, we have the opportunity to make changes to these to better suit our community.

The HOA board has authorized the PIC to establish a Property Improvement Review Subcommittee to review the PIMs and make recommend changes to the board. The community will have the opportunity to submit ideas to the subcommittee for review. The size of this subcommittee has yet to be determined but will be based on the response from the community.

Types of ideas that have been identified so far are changes to the fence regulations; outbuilding sizes; and alternative paint options. There are fifteen different PIMs and the subcommittee will be reviewing all of them.
